About
Rebekah is the Project Director for Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Medicaid advocacy project, the Medicaid Appeals Technical Team, and also serves as the firm’s Practice Group Manager for Public Benefits with Brian Hogan. Her main areas of practice are public benefits and health law. Prior to her current role, she was a Staff Attorney with the Senior Law Project of Legal Aid of North Carolina where she provided legal assistance to clients aged 60 years or older. She serves as a site chair for the North Carolina Bar Foundation’s 4ALL Statewide Day of Service and previously served as a member of the pro bono committee for the NCBA Elder & Special Needs Law section. Rebekah completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her J.D. at Wake Forest University School of Law.
A native of Boone, Rebekah now lives in Wilmington with her husband and two children. When not at work, you can find her on a nature trail or attempting to surf at the beach with her family.
