Get Help

We provide free legal help to low-income North Carolinians in civil cases involving basic human needs like safety, shelter, income and more.

Due to limited resources, LANC is temporarily limiting intake through February 1. Callers may experience increased hold times at the helpline, and LANC is not able to accept as many cases during this time.  For additional legal resources, please visit our website at: www.legalaidnc.org/get-help , nc211.org or, Find a Lawyer – North Carolina Bar Association (ncbar.org)
