The North Carolina Bar Association partnered with Legal Aid of North Carolina in a joint goal to raise $100,000 – a gift to match the 2026 distribution of the North Carolina Bar Foundation’s LANC Endowment Fund. Following a successful spring, our new goal is to raise an additional $50,000 this fall.

The reception on May 6th, 2026 was a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together in support of equal access to justice.

A heartfelt thank you to Co-Hosts Mark Holt, Joanna Holt, and Caryn McNeill for leading such a meaningful evening benefiting Legal Aid of North Carolina. We are also grateful to everyone who attended and gave so generously in support of this work.

Together, we not only met the North Carolina Bar Association’s goal to raise $100,000 in support of Legal Aid of North Carolina, we exceeded it. These funds will help more people across North Carolina access legal help during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
