About
Brian P. Hogan is the firm’s Practice Group Manager for Public Benefits along with Rebekah Garcia. He also directly supervises Legal Aid’s Public Benefits advocacy in our Triad Region. In his role as Practice Group Manager, Brian helped create Legal Aid’s statewide Medicaid advocacy project, the Medicaid Appeals Technical Team.
He received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and California. He is certified as a specialist in Social Security Disability Law by the North Carolina State Bar. Brian currently serves on the North Carolina State Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization Specialty Committee for Social Security Disability Law, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Disability Advocacy Section’s Executive Committee, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) Legal Services Committee.
