The work of Legal Aid is vital to bringing up the disenfranchised members of Western North Carolina, whether they are victims of domestic violence, facing homelessness, at risk of losing their income, or challenged by any of the laws that hinder the impoverished and at risk.

About
Daniel has worked for Legal Aid of North Carolina since 2011. He started with Legal Aid as generalist in the Greenville Office and returned to Legal Aid in 2019 following Hurricane Florence as an attorney with the Disaster Relief Program. Since 2024, Daniel has the honor of serving as the Managing Attorney of the Smoky Mountain Offices of Sylva and Murphy. His primary practice includes representing victims of domestic violence and people at risk of losing their housing.
Daniel attended Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina for his undergraduate studies and graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2008. He has served as the Chair of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Greenville and as Chair of the Reentry Council of Pitt County. Daniel lives in Western NC with his wife and their many pets.
