Helen Hobson is a communications professional who currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer at Legal Aid of North Carolina, a role she has held since May 2022. Her journey with Legal Aid of North Carolina began in January 2021 when she joined the organization as a Public Relations Associate.
Before dedicating her life to the nonprofit sector, Helen worked in advertising in an agency setting. It was during this time that she honed her skills in crafting compelling messages and engaging with diverse audiences.
Throughout her career, Helen has been committed to using her expertise to amplify the voices of those in need and to champion causes that promote justice and equality. As Chief Communications Officer, she continues to leverage her background in PR and advertising to effectively communicate Legal Aid of North Carolina’s mission and impact.
