Clifton W. Everett Sr. Community Lawyer Fellowship

What does having a Legal Aid NC fellowship mean to you?

Having a Legal Aid NC Fellowship means having the support to do work that is so crucial to fighting injustice on the frontlines – helping individuals and their families navigate legal challenges amidst the larger struggles of poverty. Being a part of providing access to justice for our clients and working with them hand-in-hand to resolve a wide range of issues is such a rewarding and insightful way to begin my legal career. The inspiration, training, and education I am receiving this year through the Fellowship is fundamental to both my personal and professional development as a social justice advocate in our great state and I am deeply grateful.
