Rona Karacaova is a legal professional with extensive experience in immigration law and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Currently serving as the Managing Attorney for Immigration Pathways for Victims at Legal Aid of North Carolina, she oversees a dedicated team providing crucial immigration assistance to vulnerable immigrant populations. With over two decades of legal expertise, Rona has managed various aspects of legal work, including case management, grant applications, and training sessions for stakeholders across North Carolina. She has also represented clients in immigration and family law cases, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring access to justice for those in need.

Rona Karacaova holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was recognized for her academic achievements with scholarships. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University. Licensed to practice law in North Carolina, Rona’s expertise is further bolstered by her previous certifications and professional experiences in Connecticut and New York.
