Holly Oner

About

Holly is the Practice Group Manager for LANC’s Housing Practice. She obtained her B.A. from The George Washington University and her J.D. from New England School of Law. She is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and New York. Holly began her career as a Public Defender for The Legal Aid Society in New York City. In 2017, Holly moved home to North Carolina where she joined LANC’s Raleigh office as a Staff Attorney with the DV practice. In 2019, Holly joined LANC’s Greensboro office where, as Supervising Attorney for the housing unit, she helped to grow the Greensboro housing practice and develop the TEAM Project, a collaborative eviction prevention and diversion project in Guilford County. Holly sits as the Vice Chair on Greensboro Housing Coalition’s Board of Directors and has taught as an adjunct professor at Elon School of Law. In 2021, Holly wrote an article, Combating and Eviction Crisis in the Midst of a Global Pandemic, which was published in the North Carolina State Bar Journal. Holly lives in Greensboro with her husband, Jon, sons, Kobe and Rafi, and dog, Maz.
