About
Since 2020 Meredith has served as the Managing Attorney of the Senior Law Project, which is a statewide division of Legal Aid that serves North Carolinians aged 60 and older. She has a wide-ranging practice and has handled cases including elder abuse and exploitation, domestic violence, wills and advance directives, housing, foreclosure, consumer and bankruptcy, and government benefits.
Meredith is a native of Western North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill. She attended Syracuse University College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Law Review. She came to Legal Aid in 2007 and has worked in the Boone, Sylva, and Asheville offices. She came to the Senior Law Project in 2012 and has served exclusively senior-aged clients since that time.
Meredith enjoys running, biking, and spending time outdoors. She lives in Asheville with her husband and two rescue dogs.
