Allison Weller Tikare

Since 2023 Allison has served as the Director of Intake & Client services at Legal Aid of North Carolina. Within that role, Allison leads intake staff at the Helpline that process applications for legal assistance from LANC through all 100 counties of North Carolina. Allison also supervises the Helpline attorney staff who provide legal services to individuals who qualify for LANC assistance. Helpline staff provide legal services across LANC practice areas, including landlord-tenant disputes and housing rights, family law and domestic violence, public benefits, consumer law, and education.

Allison earned her B.A. in Asian Studies and Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013 and her J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2016. Allison came to Legal Aid in 2016 and has worked in offices in both Raleigh and Greensboro.

Allison enjoys needlework, cooking, and spending time with her husband, family, and 2 cats.
