Alicia Edwards

Since September 2023, Alicia has served as the Director of the Disaster Relief Project, a statewide project assisting those who have suffered legal issues as a result of a natural disaster. In 2005, Alicia started working in the Winston-Salem office of Legal Aid before moving to the Greensboro office in 2009. Throughout her Legal Aid career, she has handled a variety of different cases, but before joining the Disaster Relief Project, she focused mostly primarily on foreclosure and debt collection defense cases.

Alicia grew up in New Jersey, and graduated from Boston College and UNC School of Law. She lives in Greensboro with her husband, three kids, dog, and cat.
