About
Missy Hatley joined Legal Aid NC in March 2023 as Director of Development, focused on private philanthropic support. With 20 years of experience in fundraising for housing and homelessness in North and South Carolina, Missy is excited to connect community donors, both inside and outside the legal community, to Legal Aid NC’s impact on basic needs.
She is a North Carolina native with a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and a master’s from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Missy lives in Raleigh with her husband, daughter, and two Golden Retrievers.
